The Original Uptown Comedy Club has been entertaining audiences for over three decades, and we are thrilled to announce our next big event. Beginning on May 11th, 2023, we will be hosting The Uptown Comedy Club's Reunion Party & Live Talk Show, which promises to be an evening of laughter and memories that you won't want to miss. As you may know, The Uptown Comedy Club is the first black-owned comedy club in New York history, and it's where Hip Hop Comedy was born. Founded by Andre and Kevin Brown in 1989, the club trained and launched the careers of many of today's hottest comedians, including Tracy Morgan, Jim Breuer, JB Smoove, Doug E. Doug, and Flex Alexander. And after 35 years, we're excited to bring you the Real Story of Hip Hop Comedy with our upcoming event. The Reunion Party & Live Talk Show will feature all of the Uptown Comedy Club comedians and special invited guests. Plus, we're bringing back the Karajokey, the joke-telling competition that put the Uptown Comedy Club on the map. And for aspiring comedians, we're offering the "Put Him Up" and "Put Her Up" challenge comedy contests, with the winner receiving a one-year consultation agreement with our Uptown Comedy Club Consulting team. But that's not all. Our All-Star team, featuring Andre Brown for artist development, Roger Paul Inc for casting agent, Kevin Brown for career advisor, and Tina Graham Inc for booking agent, possesses over 130 years of comedy experience. And they'll be providing advice, counsel, artist development, booking, and auditions as part of a prize package worth tens of thousands of dollars. Plus, we're excited to announce the new Uptown Comedy Club reality show, which will be launching soon.
